Engineering firm in Sandton looking to recruit an experienced, Electrical Draughtsman with HV experience. The person must have a valid drivers license and own reliable transport.Main job function

Should have Clear concept of EHV equipment, structures and Layouts.
Should be capable for preparing General arrangement drawings.
Hands on experience on preparation of Electrical Single Line Diagram for HV / EHV Sub-stations, LT system etc.
Preparation of Electrical layouts plan & Section for HV/ EHV Sub-stations.
Preparation of Erection Key Diagram, earthing layout, Lightening Protection Layout.
Preparation of foundation plan & Cable trench layout.
Cable schedule and quantity estimation.
Preparation of Panel arrangement layout.
Preparation of Lighting layout, Conduit Layout, SLDs. BOM.

QualificationsGrade 12 and relevant qualificationMinimum 4 Years working experience with main focus on HV projects.Sound working knowledge of packages like, Retic Master, PowerOffice, Bentley MicroStation, DigSilent, MS Projects, Dialux etc.Experience/CriteriaMust have background or extensive knowledge of at least one or more of their core focus areas, being:a. HV Substation Design (132/88 kV etc.)b. HV Overhead Lines Design (132/88 kV etc.)c. MV and LV Reticulations Designd.
