Job Summary Experience and Qualifications: • N5 with a recognized trade qualification, together with 3 years' experience in a heavy industry (experience in cement production will be advantageous). • N4 with a recognized trade qualification, with 5 years of cement production experience. • N3 with a recognized trade qualification, with 8 years cement production experience inclusive of the Learnership period. • Recognised Trade qualification, with 10 years cement production experience inclusive of the Learnership period. • A relevant post matric mining qualification with 3 years' experience in a surface mining environment or quarrying. • At least one year or ad-hoc supervisory exposure. • Competent A (EMS) will be an advantage. • Blasting certificate will be an advantage. • Valid code B driver's license. Skills and Knowledge: • At least one year or ad-hoc supervisory exposure. • Sound computer skills and knowledge of MS Office. • Advanced planning, organising and problem-solving skills. • Sound understanding of production strategies.
