The purpose of an SQA is to ensure that all work delivered by PlusNarrative is of the highest quality. This is achieved through the effective planning and execution of tests related activities, ensuring that any development is rigidly tested against detailed functional and non-functional requirements.You'll spend your time implementing manual and automated tests, conducting root cause analysis to mitigate recurring issues, forming a deeper understanding of customer requirements and enforcing compatibility checklists.Required Skills:

Passion for quality and an extremely high attention to detail
Skilled in analysis and sharing of insights gained
5+ years of QA engineering experience
3+ years automation testing/frameworks experience
Continuous integration and delivery
E2E testing across mobile and web platforms
API testing
Experience using platforms/frameworks/tools such as POSTMAN, Selenium, Katalon, Nightwatch.JS, JMeter, TestNG/Cucumber
Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment

Advantageous Skills:

ISTQB Advanced Level - Test Analyst
Knowledgeable in at least one programming or scripting language
Familiarity with product development lifecycles
Working knowledge of Clickup (Jira etc), Confluence and Bitbucket

Responsibilities:

Continuously optimise standards and processes
Develop and validate regular testing schedules
Review, analyse and identify test requirements based on the functional and design specifications and ensure a full understanding of all deliverables
Plan and prepare test cases and testing environments
Execute test cases and report test results
Ensure software stability via regression, unit and user-acceptance testing to identify bugs and ensure production operations run successfully
Proactively raise questions and seek clarification for testing
Create documentation and maintain test plans/cases around new and existing requirements and technical specifications
Hold and facilitate test case reviews with Testing, Development & Design teams
Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements
Perform regression and ad-hoc testing of system components potentially affected by system changes
Communicate with Project Leads to ensure all Quality Assurance projects are managed, tracked and delivered to customer expectations with high quality standards, within required timelines.
Provide the team with analysis and other relevant reports regarding the quality of work
Identify any potential quality issues and escalate to Project Lead
