Their work directly contributes to the success of the organization's Mobile App initiatives and works closely with the business team to deliver solutions in an Agile environment.Purpose of the role:The Product Delivery Manager is a key member of the portfolio’s senior operational management team, working closely with the Head of Portfolio to develop and deliver a range of services in keeping with the portfolio’s operational functions and those of the wider business.As the Product Delivery Manager, you are responsible and accountable for the technical implementation and delivery of software solutions. This person will need to maintain detailed application and domain knowledge to support technical teams’ delivery, and swiftly responding to changing requirements through the effective management of multi-disciplined, cross-functional teams and work schedules.You are to clear any impediments that may slow down team progress on a project and set the timelines on which products will be delivered.This position reports into the Head of Portfolio.Duties will include, but not limited to:Collaborate with the Head of Portfolio, Lead Engineers and Product Managers in formulating and executing strategic and operational plans in partnership with other business units.Work with the Head of Portfolio and other senior managers to ensure that all performance targets are met.Fully accountable for delivery of product KPI’sFully accountable for all DORA metricsDrive and promote passion and pride in products.Responsible for regular delivery & tech demo sessions with all relevant stakeholders.Ensure our people are being retained, motivated, and developed.Monitor the delivery of performance development and modernisation plans.Promote team/product delivery through frequent product demosPromote continuous improvement in all areas of software development (productivity efficiency, policies, standards, best practices, upskilling).Responsible for agile maturity assessment.Responsible for the maturity of self-organizing teams.Take an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of release/sprint goalsAssist in critical support issues where experience is required to ascertain issues quickly and to find more appropriate resolutionProposals and review of technical integrity, quantification of risk, and strategic directionTrack and frequently report on product capital expenditure & operational expenditure; continuously find ways to reduce CapEx & OpEx while maintaining and increase feature output levels.Responsible for maintaining and continuously reviewing product risk registers in accordance with ISO27001 standardsThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities.
