A market leader in the South African Roadside Assistance Services, has a Freelanceposition (3 days per week) for a Social Media Manager based in Gauteng.The Social Media Manager will assist with the development and implementation of the Social Media and Digital Strategy, through managing the engagement and interaction of the audience, assist in the development of strategies to increase the fan/follower-base, increase activity, and ensure retention. In addition, research, curate, and post information, and develop and foster a community spirit.Maintenance of all digital channels including website and the mobisite, tracking these channels and pulling analytics reports.This role co-ordinates with the Marketing team to support the missions, strategies, objectives and goals of the department and its functional areas, ensuring consistency in voice and cultivating a strong community around the brand.

Duties and Responsibilities:Job Objectives and work activities:

Create content with the in-house design team to develop engaging case studies, product landing pages, brochures, mailings, blogs, etc
Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written, etc.) across social media platforms (Meta, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
