Brooklyn, Pretoria: MID-LEVEL PROJECT MANAGER (EVENTS MANAGEMENT)Minimum Requirements:-Well presentable, efficient and professional female-Fully bilingual in both Afrikaans & English a must (Afr & Eng client base)-Matric / Grade 12-Relevant tertiary qualification preferred-2 to 3 years recent Project Management experience in events industry or similar industry a must-Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Afrikaans a must-Strong negotiation skills-Organized with strong administration skills essential-Deadline driven with strong attention to detail-Computer literate MS Office, and comfortable working with online systems-Able to work under pressure-Able to work independently and with minimal supervision-Valid drivers license and own vehicle a must-Stable employment record and contactable References-To start as soon as possibleDuties:-Perform all skills necessary to manage functions such as Meetings / Incentives / Conferences / Events.
-Take on events and incentives awarded to company.
-Provide experienced input into each new brief / proposal.
-Apply a creative and "out-of the box" thinking process when writing proposals.
-Compose detailed proposals including detailed itineraries, descriptions, images, costings, and presentations.
-Conduct site inspections to proposed destinations
-Accompany groups on actual events
-Manage the operational aspects with regards to planning and execution of an event assigned.
-Manage the on-site arrangements with regards to any events assigned.
-Meet & greet groups at the Airports or other venues.
-Suggest, book and manage all entertainment required for an event.
-Book and manage all accommodation requirements specific to any event.
-Book and manage all elements surrounding conference requirements.
-Suggest, book and manage all elements surrounding leisure activities for any event.-Act as liaison between suppliers and clients.
-Continued client liaison regarding progress of an event / incentive.
-Build relationships with clients, support staff as well as suppliers.
-Responsible for cash flow of each event managed.
-Responsible for reconciliation and profitability of each event managed.
