DescriptionPURPOSE OF THE POSITIONTo ensure that PEP finance systems and business processes incorporate industry standards and best (fit for purpose) practices; and to provide business process and technology support to users.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES● Proposed new developments and changes to business processes and technology● Documentation of business processes alongside functional and technical specifications● Testing and providing implementation support● Change management and User training● System consulting / User support● Project managementRequirementsJOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTSFinance/ Commercial related degree with analytical/commercial subjectsMinimum 5 years systems / business analyst experience, preferably in a retail / financial environmentA strong understanding of accounting practices including financial reconciliations, depreciation and stock accounting.Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP software processesStrong presentation and facilitation skillsAbove average computer literacy - Google Workspace, MS Project, Excel, Word, MS Access, VisioKnowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including:Change Impact ManagementTesting MethodologiesExperience in working on large complex projects with cross functional teams as the Lead Business Analyst.Knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies (scrum) and work practiceExperience in using a business process management software (i.e. Jira, Confluence, etc.)Experience in managing and developing junior Business AnalystsThe following will be an advantage:Any additional qualification(s) with regards to Information Systems or FinanceSAP CertificationBusiness Analysis Certification/DiplomaProject Management experienceExperience within IT Service Management and Defect ManagementCompetencies: Performing Under Pressure; Presenting; Results-oriented; Structuring; Cooperation; Organisational sensitivity; Flexibility; Analysing and forming opinionsWork LevelSeniorTypePermanentSalaryMarket RelatedEE PositionYesLocationWestern Cape
