- N6 or T4 Qualification or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- Omron/Siemens Drives and PLC courses will be an advantage.
- Must be willing and able to work in a challenging manufacturing environment at long hours.

- The position will require an individual with sound knowledge of instrumentation, variable speed drives and automation systems.
- This position will require standby duty and overtime when required.
- The successful candidate will be expected to be systems driven to always ensure effective functionality of the plant and have a flair for innovation to drive continuous improvement
- The candidate will participate in new capital projects as well as continuous improvement
- Sound knowledge of Siemens, Omron and Delta PLC's and VSD's
- Sound knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatic
- DELTA. Omron and SIEMENS PLC/HMI knowledge would be advantageous.
- 5+ years experiences gained in PLC and SCADA software development and support, ideally in a powder/ash handling and batching systems environment, along with a strong desire and capability to empower people.
- Responsibilities and expectations, but not limited to:
- The successful candidate will report to the Factory Manager and will be accountable for the site control systems, calibrations, electrical, instrumentation support.
Electrical, Instrumentation and electronic repair and maintenance of all machinery within the factory, and all associated electrical supply and control panels.
Strong programming and fault-finding knowledge of DELTA, Omron and SIEMENS Variable Speed Drives and PLC’s will be advantageous.
Knowledge of Ethercat/Ethernet and Profinet networks is required.
Fault-finding and analysis of machine condition and electronic component failures.
Load cell fault finding, diagnostics and calibration
Perform routine maintenance and calibration on weighing systems, level control systems, level transmitters, and control system as per procedures and schedules.Industrial Safety
Keeping abreast of technical developments in all fields.
Maintaining machine regulations.
Abide by all safety regulations.
Being available for Call Outs and overtime work
