Our client, a leading construction company in Johannesburg, is seeking a Construction Manager with expertise in Road Rehabilitation & Surfacing projects.The Construction Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the progress of road rehabilitation and surfacing projects in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will work closely with the project team to ensure quality standards are met, deadlines are achieved, and budgets are maintained.Responsibilities

Manage and oversee road rehabilitation and surfacing projects from start to finish
Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets
Coordinate resources, equipment, and materials needed for the projects
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays
Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors
Prepare reports and documentation for project updates and analysis

Requirements

BSc / BEng / BTech / ND Civil Engineering required
Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Construction Manager, specifically with road rehabilitation and surfacing projects
Strong knowledge of road construction techniques, materials, and equipment
Excellent project management skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Effective communication and leadership skills
Proficient in project management software and MS Office
Degree in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred
