The successful candidate will report to the PPL Manager.Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:Drive MRP fundamentals adherence and governance at site level to ensure site 4-week MPS KPI is metManage OTIF processes to ensure Packaging and Brewhouse plans are met, including Returnable requirementsManage OTIF process for Indirects and MRO itemsCo-ordinate PIPO process for the site, including requesting for BOM updatesChair monthly and quarterly SPP meetings with key suppliers for both MRP and site SLA’sEnsure service levels are maintained through management of contracts and engagement with Group Contract managersManage the Supplier claims process for the siteTimely escalations of material constraints to ensure mitigation processes are in placeAdhering to all ICC procedures pertaining to purchasing process for siteMaintaining and improving relationships with suppliers and customersEnsuring competitive pricing and implementing cost savingsImplementing and adhering to purchasing policies and proceduresLead and manage Sedibeng Material Scheduling teamThe successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:A Degree in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management is a requirement2-5 years of experience within a manufacturing planning environmentAbility to seamlessly manage a dual/manual system processExcellent negotiation and collaboration skillsHigh acumen of SAP Purchasing modulesAdvanced Excel skillsStrong analytical abilities & attention to detailStrong diligence & mindfulness is essentialAdvanced level of problem-solving abilitiesFuture-orientated and able to generate contingency plansGood verbal/ written communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively with site management and plannersAbility to persevere with tasks and display resilience when confronted with adversityThe Company’s approved Employment Equity Plan and Targets will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
