The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SAS programming, data management, and analytics, coupled with expertise in deploying and managing SAS solutions in cloud environments. This role requires a candidate with a keen analytical mindset, effective communication skills, and the ability to contribute to the ongoing success of our data analytics initiatives.Responsibilities

Develop and maintain SAS programs for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Design, implement, and optimise SAS solutions for data analytics and reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAS programs.
Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot SAS applications deployed in cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
Implement security measures and adhere to best practices for SAS deployment in cloud architectures.
Participate in the planning and execution of data governance and quality initiatives.
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in SAS technologies and cloud platforms.
Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams regarding SAS and cloud-related inquiries.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a SAS Developer with a minimum of 5 years in SAS programming and analytics.
Demonstrated expertise in deploying and managing SAS solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Strong proficiency in SAS programming languages, SQL, and data manipulation techniques.

Ability to appropriately scope an engagement and prepare a budget
Responsibility for entire engagement (including management of other workstreams) plus sections allocated to you and delivery on these sections at an above acceptable level of quality, with few review queries and within the deadline.
Effective review of other team members sections, identification of risk and issues in each team member's section and monitoring of other team members to ensure that they are addressing these issues in their sections.
Consolidation of entire report and key findings and ability to identify common themes, deal issues, follow up matters and appropriate recommendations
