Company DescriptionAuditing firm based in PretoriaJob DescriptionDuties:· Provide internal support to partners and clients in respect of SARS and E-filing issues· Liaising with clients as required· Submission of Trust, Individual and Company Income Tax Returns· Checking of Assessments· Sorting out errors on Returns· Dealing with Refund matters (Queries)· New profiles· Managing Tax Return queries with SARS· Attending meetings with SARS· Dividends Tax Returns· Provisional Tax Calculations & Submissions· Donations· Tax clearance certificates & Foreign Investment Tax Clearance· VAT registration· PAYE registrations· Tax Directives· Ceasing of Residency Process· Request for suspension of payments/appeals· Management of complaints and Appeals· Import/Export applications· Tax compliance with SARS and payment process· Handle mail, calls, and appointments with SARS Agents1) Experience· Experience in completing Income Tax Returns, Evaluating Assessments· Corresponding with SARS Consultants· Must understand SARS procedures and abide by these deadlines· Knowledge of Income Tax Act and Tax Administration Act· Must have problem solving skills, client communication skills· Assist with SARS and General Tax Queries· Assist with Ad hoc tax tasks.· Must be able to work under pressure with deadlines in a fast-paced environment and still provide excellent quality work· Work in support of other members of the departmentQualificationsAcademic Qualifications:· Experience in tax environment· Degree in Accounting, Tax or equivalent will be an advantageSkills, Competencies and Experience Required:1) Skills· Effective organization of daily tasks (time management, planning, administration and reporting skills, meeting deadlines)· Client Focus – internal and External (responding to client’s needs, services)· Fully Bilingual (Afrikaans and English)· SARS e-filing knowledge2) Competencies· Microsoft Office· Greatsoft Software knowledge will be an added advantageAdditional InformationSalary will be based on experience and is market-related.
