Job DescriptionOur client, a market leader in the Medical Devices Industry, has a vacancy for a Regional Sales Manager, based in GautengThis role reports into the Business Unit Director of the Sports Medicine Division and is responsible for the achievement of the company objectives and management of the relevant region in South AfricaDuties and Responsibilities:

Achieve sales targets as agreed for the year
Monitor service levels within the region
Provide recommendations for the improvement of performance levels and the attainment of strategic objectives with the region
Provide regular feedback on competitive activity within the region
Build relationships with key opinion leaders
Have a working relationship with all departments
Attend sales meetings, conferences, symposiums, workshops and other related activities

Minimum Requirements:Education and Experience:

Matric
Degree within the Faculty of Health Sciences e.g. Physio / Sports Medicine
Minimum 8 years post qualifying sales experience of which 5 years must be medical / pharma sales
Minimum 2 years Sales Management experience in the Medical or Pharmaceutical field
Extensive knowledge of the Medical Devices Industry
In Theatre experience essential
Demonstrated track record of expertise and career progress within the medical devices landscape and the ability to develop strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders

Knowledge and Skills:

Ability to build strong relationships
Strong people manager
