Job Summary Auditor - UIF Government Wage Support Scheme Benefit Audit (30 Positions Available) Summary: This position plays a crucial role in conducting audits on employer applications for the UIF Government Wage Support Scheme Benefit program. You will be responsible for performing audit procedures, compiling working papers, collecting evidence, and assisting in report preparation, ensuring the accuracy and legitimacy of benefit claims. Responsibilities: •Perform Audit Work: o Conduct assigned audit procedures in accordance with agreed-upon procedures and established methodologies. o This may include tasks such as reviewing employer documentation, conducting interviews with relevant personnel (e.g., HR, payroll), analysing data, and performing third-party verifications. o Exercise professional judgment and critical thinking throughout the audit process. •Working Papers and Evidence: o Compile comprehensive and well-organized working papers, documenting all procedures performed, evidence collected, rationale for conclusions, and any challenges encountered. o Ensure working papers are clear, concise, and accurately reflect the audit process. o Actively gather and document relevant evidence to support audit findings. o This may include copies of documents, interview notes, data extracts, and third-party verification reports.
