Our client is looking for a Catering Manager to lead a team of kitchen staff at a private school in Pietermaritzburg, KZN.Key Requirements:

A Grade 12
At least 5 (five) years' experience working in a similar position or environment
Skilled and passionate about food, upmarket functions, baking and preparation of

food * Must be able to assist with menu development and function menus

Understanding of costings, ordering and management of stock
Delegates and leads a team efficiently, has a good understanding of HR related

matters * A clear understanding of the importance of HSE and implementation thereof

Able to work well under pressure
Attention to detail - especially when it comes to quality and presentation of meals
Able to work long hours, weekends, and shift work
Own vehicle
Must be computer literate
