Fleet and Administration Manager - Transport - PaarlFull job descriptionIntroductionA leading Transport, Logistics and Supply chain company based in Paarl, wants to appoint a Logistics administrator/fleet co-ordinator who will be responsible for planning and managing timeous deliveries to end user destinations.Duties & Responsibilities· Client liaison and route planning· Tracking and on-route monitoring· Monitoring route progress and delivery schedule· Managing loading & offloading, driver briefing and monitoring· Managing the utilization of vehicles, planning of loads, routes and fuel consumption (pre-planning and post-performance analysis)· Ensuring compliance of statutory and legal requirements, vehicle maintenance and licencing· Accident/incident investigation and monitoring· Breakdown monitoring and managing potential risks· Administrative duties· Ad hoc duties as and when requiredDesired Experience and qualifications· Tertiary education in logistics and supply chain management· Previous working experience in a similar roll/position essential· Passion for Logistics and Transport· Strong administrative/organizational skills with attention to detail· Motivated, self-driven and able to work under pressure without supervision· Fluent in English and AfrikaansJob Type: Full-timeSalary: R30 000,00 - R40 000,00 per monthEducation:Diploma (Required)Experience:fleet administration and management: 3 years (Required)• Client liaison and route planning: 3 years (Required)Language:Afrikaans and English (Required)Ability to Commute:Paarl, Western Cape (Required)
